Heart and Soles

Jessica Simpson may be a complete no talent hack and the Queen of all Bimbos, but she sure as hell knows how to make a kick ass shoe. These are my most recent splurge and I love them. Love them! They create the illusion that my size 8 1/2 ski is almost dainty, and they are amazingly comfortable for a heel that keeps my foot at an almost 180 degree angle. Cracka-lackin'!

And, ladies...there's nothing quite like a four inch heel to make your legs look, well...four inches longer. Sure your husband loves those ballet flats on you, (right....) but he probably wouldn't kick you to the curb if you showed up in these.

Amy, whatever works for the task at hand. If they make you feel better, go for them.

Rosaria - Well said. And yes, they certainly help me feel that little extra bit of sassiness.

Are those clear stripper heels?
Regardless, I LOVE THEM.

Wendy - No...they're black patent leather with a peep-toe. The back side of the heel and the sole are silver. Purty, aren't they?

They make my feet cramp just to look at them. I've often referred to these kinds of shoes as american foot binding. Just teasing you. They look fabulous.

Ellen - I've sometimes moaned and groaned about wearing heels, but when I find a great pair that looks good AND feels good...ahhhh!I wouldn't WORK in them, mind you. They're just for being pretty. And, no matter how liberated I like to think myself, I still like looking pretty!

Any woman that can get her foot into that is alright by me!

one reason I'm glad to be a man...or at least a man who doesn't wear high heels. :-)

Andrea - I'm sure it says something about my character that I still want to toddle around in shoes like this, but I'm telling you...they make me feel HOT!

SJT - Go get yourself some! You'll feel fabulous.

Lee - If you ever do decide to start wearing heels, go for these. The platform base is very stabilizing and you won't topple over. And, Lee...if you DO start wearing them...please send pictures.

I would be scared to even try those on. I salute your courage! Wow.

It is no mystery where Alex gets her love of shiny shoes and pretty things.

Geli from Usedom gave me directions to get here, and I hope you don't mind if I make myself comfortable and dig through your archive for a while.

The door to my little informal kitchen is always open. Many mutual blogland buddies hang out there for the home-style cooking, the good wine and the laid back conversation. Please come in, sit and join in.

Ciao,
Lola
